Where will my face mask donation go?

Each donated face mask will go to an essential worker, an immunocompromised person, or someone in need and unable to pay. We will do our level best to be as transparent with our donations as possible, without compromising the privacy of the recipients.

How should I clean my mask?

Tie the straps together into a bundle in the belly of the mask and wash it in your washer on the delicate cycle. If you have a laundry bag that you can wash the mask inside of, that is ideal. Hand washing your mask is always the safest way to protect it. Wash and dry your mask on high heat, to kill any germs that survived the washing machine. We recommend washing your mask as soon as you receive it.

Who made my mask?

So far, all masks have been made in my basement studio in our little home in Portland. We are in the process of hiring more seamstresses (a challenging prospect during Quarantine!) so hopefully our team will soon grow and include other people in the Portland area. If you’re in Portland and interested in working with us, send us a message!
